1 And Ahab256 told5046 Jezebel348 all3605 that Elijah452 had done,6213 and with834 3605 how834 he had slain2026 all3605 the prophets5030 with the sword.2719

1 И пересказал5046 Ахав256 Иезавели348 все, что сделал6213 Илия,452 и то, что он убил2026 всех пророков5030 мечом.2719

2 Then Jezebel348 sent7971 a messenger4397 to Elijah,452 saying,559 So3541 let the gods430 do6213 to me, and more3254 also,3541 if I make7760 not your life5315 as the life5315 of one259 of them by to morrow4279 about this time.6256

2 И послала7971 Иезавель348 посланца4397 к Илии452 сказать:559 пусть то и то сделают6213 мне боги,430 и еще больше3254 сделают,3254 если я завтра4279 к этому времени6256 не сделаю7760 с твоею душею5315 того, что сделано с душею5315 каждого259 из них.

3 And when he saw7200 that, he arose,6965 and went3212 for his life,5315 and came935 to Beersheba,884 which834 belongs to Judah,3063 and left5117 his servant5288 there.8033

4 But he himself1931 went1980 a day's3117 journey1870 into the wilderness,4057 and came935 and sat3427 down under8478 a juniper7574 tree: and he requested7592 for himself5315 that he might die;4191 and said,559 It is enough;7227 now,6258 O LORD,3068 take3947 away my life;5315 for I am not better2896 than my fathers.1

4 А сам отошел1980 в пустыню4057 на день3117 пути1870 и, придя,935 сел3427 под можжевеловым7574 кустом,7574 и просил7592 смерти4191 себе5315 и сказал:559 довольно7227 уже, Господи;3068 возьми3947 душу5315 мою, ибо я не лучше2896 отцов1 моих.

5 And as he lay7901 and slept3462 under8478 a juniper7574 tree, behold,2009 then an angel4397 touched5060 him, and said559 to him, Arise6965 and eat.398

5 И лег7901 и заснул3462 под можжевеловым7574 кустом.7574 И вот, Ангел4397 коснулся5060 его и сказал559 ему: встань,6965 ешь.398

6 And he looked,5027 and, behold,2009 there was a cake5692 baked on the coals,7529 and a cruse6835 of water4325 at his head.4763 And he did eat398 and drink,8354 and laid7901 him down7901 again.7725

6 И взглянул5027 Илия, и вот, у изголовья4763 его печеная7529 лепешка5692 и кувшин6835 воды.4325 Он поел398 и напился8354 и опять7725 заснул.7901

7 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 came7725 again7725 the second8145 time, and touched5060 him, and said,559 Arise6965 and eat;398 because3588 the journey1870 is too great7227 for you.

7 И возвратился7725 Ангел4397 Господень3068 во второй8145 раз, коснулся5060 его и сказал:559 встань,6965 ешь;398 ибо дальняя7227 дорога1870 пред тобою.
|

8 And he arose,6965 and did eat398 and drink,8354 and went3212 in the strength3581 of that meat396 forty705 days3117 and forty705 nights3915 to Horeb2722 the mount2022 of God.430
|
8 И встал6965 он, поел398 и напился,8354 и, подкрепившись3581 тою пищею,396 шел3212 сорок705 дней3117 и сорок705 ночей3915 до горы2022 Божией430 Хорива.2722
|

9 And he came935 thither8033 to a cave,4631 and lodged3885 there;8033 and, behold,2009 the word1697 of the LORD3068 came to him, and he said559 to him, What4100 do you here,6311 Elijah?452

9 И вошел935 он там в пещеру4631 и ночевал3885 в ней. И вот, было к нему слово1697 Господне,3068 и сказал559 ему Господь: что ты здесь, Илия?452
|

10 And he said,559 I have been very jealous7065 for the LORD3068 God430 of hosts:6635 for the children1121 of Israel3478 have forsaken5800 your covenant,1285 thrown2040 down2040 your altars,4196 and slain2026 your prophets5030 with the sword;2719 and I, even I only,905 am left;3498 and they seek1245 my life,5315 to take3947 it away.

10 Он сказал:559 возревновал7065 я о Господе3068 Боге430 Саваофе,6635 ибо сыны1121 Израилевы3478 оставили5800 завет1285 Твой, разрушили2040 Твои жертвенники4196 и пророков5030 Твоих убили2026 мечом;2719 остался3498 я один, но и моей души5315 ищут,1245 чтобы отнять3947 ее.

11 And he said,559 Go3318 forth,3318 and stand5975 on the mount2022 before6440 the LORD.3068 And, behold,2009 the LORD3068 passed5674 by, and a great1419 and strong2389 wind7307 rent6561 the mountains,2022 and broke7665 in pieces the rocks5553 before6440 the LORD;3068 but the LORD3068 was not in the wind:7307 and after310 the wind7307 an earthquake;7494 but the LORD3068 was not in the earthquake:7494

11 И сказал:559 выйди3318 и стань5975 на горе2022 пред3942 лицем3942 Господним,3068 и вот, Господь3068 пройдет,5674 и большой1419 и сильный2389 ветер,7307 раздирающий6561 горы2022 и сокрушающий7665 скалы5553 пред3942 Господом,3068 но не в ветре7307 Господь;3068 после310 ветра7307 землетрясение,7494 но не в землетрясении7494 Господь;3068

12 And after310 the earthquake7494 a fire;784 but the LORD3068 was not in the fire:784 and after310 the fire784 a still1827 small1851 voice.6963

12 после310 землетрясения7494 огонь,784 но не в огне784 Господь;3068 после310 огня784 веяние6963 тихого1827 ветра.1851

13 And it was so, when Elijah452 heard8085 it, that he wrapped3874 his face6440 in his mantle,155 and went3318 out, and stood5975 in the entering6607 in of the cave.4631 And, behold,2009 there came1961 a voice6963 to him, and said,559 What4100 do you here,6311 Elijah?452

13 Услышав8085 сие, Илия452 закрыл3874 лице6440 свое милотью155 своею, и вышел,3318 и стал5975 у входа6607 в пещеру.4631 И был к нему голос6963 и сказал559 ему: что ты здесь, Илия?452

14 And he said,559 I have been very jealous7065 for the LORD3068 God430 of hosts:6635 because3588 the children1121 of Israel3478 have forsaken5800 your covenant,1285 thrown2040 down2040 your altars,4196 and slain2026 your prophets5030 with the sword;2719 and I, even I only,905 am left;3498 and they seek1245 my life,5315 to take3947 it away.

14 Он сказал:559 возревновал7065 я о Господе3068 Боге430 Саваофе,6635 ибо сыны1121 Израилевы3478 оставили5800 завет1285 Твой, разрушили2040 жертвенники4196 Твои и пророков5030 Твоих убили2026 мечом;2719 остался3498 я один, но и моей души5315 ищут,1245 чтоб отнять3947 ее.

15 And the LORD3068 said559 to him, Go,3212 return7725 on your way1870 to the wilderness4057 of Damascus:1834 and when you come,935 anoint4886 Hazael2371 to be king4428 over5921 Syria:758

15 И сказал559 ему Господь:3068 пойди3212 обратно7725 своею дорогою1870 чрез пустыню4057 в Дамаск,1834 и когда придешь,935 то помажь4886 Азаила2371 в царя4428 над Сириею,758
|

16 And Jehu3058 the son1121 of Nimshi5250 shall you anoint4886 to be king4428 over5921 Israel:3478 and Elisha477 the son1121 of Shaphat8202 of Abelmeholah65 shall you anoint4886 to be prophet5030 in your room.8478
|
16 а Ииуя,3058 сына1121 Намессиина,5250 помажь4886 в царя4428 над Израилем;3478 Елисея477 же, сына1121 Сафатова,8202 из Авел-Мехолы,65 помажь4886 в пророка5030 вместо себя;

17 And it shall come1961 to pass, that him that escapes4422 the sword2719 of Hazael2371 shall Jehu3058 slay:4191 and him that escapes4422 from the sword2719 of Jehu3058 shall Elisha477 slay.4191
|
17 кто убежит4422 от меча2719 Азаилова,2371 того умертвит4191 Ииуй;3058 а кто спасется4422 от меча2719 Ииуева,3058 того умертвит4191 Елисей.477

18 Yet I have left7604 me seven7651 thousand505 in Israel,3478 all3605 the knees1290 which834 have not bowed3766 to Baal,1168 and every3605 mouth6310 which834 has not kissed5401 him.

18 Впрочем, Я оставил7604 между Израильтянами3478 семь7651 тысяч505 мужей; всех сих колени1290 не преклонялись3766 пред Ваалом,1168 и всех сих уста6310 не лобызали5401 его.

19 So he departed3212 there,8033 and found4672 Elisha477 the son1121 of Shaphat,8202 who1931 was plowing2790 with twelve8147 6240 yoke6776 of oxen before6440 him, and he with the twelfth:8147 6240 and Elijah452 passed5674 by him, and cast7993 his mantle155 on him.

19 И пошел3212 он оттуда, и нашел4672 Елисея,477 сына1121 Сафатова,8202 когда он орал;2790 двенадцать81476240 пар6776 волов было у него, и сам он был при двенадцатой.81476240 Илия,452 проходя5674 мимо него, бросил7993 на него милоть155 свою.

20 And he left5800 the oxen,1241 and ran7323 after310 Elijah,452 and said,559 Let me, I pray4994 you, kiss5401 my father1 and my mother,517 and then I will follow3212 310 you. And he said559 to him, Go3212 back7725 again:7725 for what4100 have I done6213 to you?

20 И оставил5800 Елисей волов,1241 и побежал7323 за310 Илиею,452 и сказал:559 позволь5401 мне поцеловать5401 отца1 моего и мать517 мою, и я пойду3212310 за тобою. Он сказал559 ему: пойди3212 и приходи7725 назад, ибо что сделал6213 я тебе?

21 And he returned7725 back7725 from him, and took3947 a yoke6776 of oxen,1241 and slew2076 them, and boiled1310 their flesh1320 with the instruments3627 of the oxen,1241 and gave5414 to the people,5971 and they did eat.398 Then he arose,6965 and went3212 after310 Elijah,452 and ministered8334 to him.

21 Он, отойдя7725 от него, взял3947 пару6776 волов1241 и заколол2076 их и, зажегши плуг3627 волов,1241 изжарил1310 мясо1320 их, и раздал5414 людям,5971 и они ели.398 А сам встал6965 и пошел3212 за310 Илиею,452 и стал8334 служить8334 ему.
